“Do you know what my favorite part of the game is? The opportunity to play.”
-Michael Singletary
One of my many hopes for you all is that this unique season has been a reminder of how fortunate we all are to be able to practice and play sports. Best of all, the teammates that make up these teams.
I know I feel so blessed to coach you all; to have the opportunity to coach is a blessing.
This next 10 days my goal for this squad is that we accomplish every workout available. Let’s strengthen that closers mentality. It’s so useful in sport and life. So keep it up!
As for today. It’s a nice easy day, please focus on the stretching and foam rolling. Just watch your respective video and have a good day.
Proud of this team,
Coach Patrick

“The triumph can’t be held without the struggle”
-Wilma Rudolph
Overall, this team has been so impressive with the way you have handled this season. I ask you all to finish strong. This is such an important skill set that can be difficult to obtain. This is how you gain that skillset. This last 10 days can be such a building experience for you. So stay focused, and bring an unwavering attitude.
I am so proud of you! Stay strong.
Please just watch your respective training video for the day, and get out there and compete against yourself !
God bless,
Coach Patrick

Jon, You were a delight to have on the team! It didn’t go unnoticed of your off-the-track help towards the team: always chipping to help; asking if we needed anything; helping clean up camp; cheering on teammates, etc. To me that is a definition of a leader. It’s that selfless attitude that I appreciated. On top of all that, you are leaving us in our school’s top 10 list of the best 800 meter runs of the 21st century!
