Jon, You were a delight to have on the team! It didn’t go unnoticed of your off-the-track help towards the team: always chipping to help; asking if we needed anything; helping clean up camp; cheering on teammates, etc. To me that is a definition of a leader. It’s that selfless attitude that I appreciated. On top of all that, you are leaving us in our school’s top 10 list of the best 800 meter runs of the 21st century!

It’s Friday! You’re nearly wrapping up yet another great week of training. Not to mention the weather is starting to get nicer each day, which has been a blessing. Let’s finish this season strong, bye approaching each day/ workout one at a time.
For today’s plan: 1. Watch the “Friday Feature” video. 2. Watch your respective training video.
Proud of you all! You’re almost to the finish line. Keep your eyes forward and on the goal.
You’re awesome,
Coach Patrick

“Nobody who ever gave his/ her best regretted it”
-George Halas
Hopefully everyone took advantage of your day off yesterday, and feels a little more rested.
Today is a hard workout. We are on to the last phase or sharpening phase; where the mileage drops a little bit, and the workouts become a little more speed based.
Your order of events for today are simple: 1. watch your respective training video. Although it’s not Friday yet, maybe consider reaching out to your group to show your support. It makes a difference.
Put forth your best effort today, as that’s all you can do!
Thanks for choosing to give your best,
Coach Patrick

It’s midweek and it’s also a day off of running. You can still be active if you chose. However, I would encourage you all to let your body rest a bit. Focus that same energy on stretching and foam rolling.
I ask that you take this day of rest as a chance to get any soreness or fatigue under control. A good recipe for that is hydration, rest , ice, and of course stretching and foam rolling.
Lastly, make sure and watch your parable talk video for the day as well.
Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication this season so far. Enjoy a day of rest. Glad you’re on this team.
